Healthy thinking is equally as important as healthy bodies and relationships. Respect needs to go both ways among teenagers. Neither sex are responsible what the other think unless the wearer's intent is exactly that. We all wore mini-skirts, hot pants, hip-huggers etc in high school. It's not the clothes, but how we carry ourselves within them. Parents have that responsibility of guiding their kids through respective wear. Growing into our clothes is more than size and a hem length.
