Colonial science as I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, is limited to what can be proven. What is in the unseen, like the spirit of your student's child, or the space that you and your class work in, might not be part of the equation. I was taught that all of us have a doorway through which we learn but none are exactly the same. (Physical mental emotional spiritual) Instead of re-"minding" him, his music affected his heart and spirit inspiring the feeling of joy. Can that be equated or calculated in scientific terms?
